The redevelopment of the 40th Floor at 190 S. LaSalle provides tenants and their guests the opportunity to get away from the office and work in a less formal atmosphere. The Stacks was formerly utilized as a library for a legal firm and was transformed into a lounge with additional reception space.
The open space features an abundance of seating for working and meeting in small groups. The two-story-high, book-lined walls contain over 50,000 volumes of law books, which were preserved in the new space. Construction included renovations to the restrooms, elevator bank and corridor, conferencing area, library, and bar.
